Omaha's WOWT (NBC-6) reports on an area retailer that is planning to cover some of Cashback America's promised rebates.

"Five years after Georgia-based Consumer Cash Rewards started issuing certificates worth up to $10,000, largely as part of a car-dealer's sales incentive program, thousands of Hampton Roads residents who thought they would receive the money three years later are getting a fraction of what they expected."

Adam says: "I just wanted to say that most of the retailers that I know who offered this rebate program are not thieves..."

I'm afraid this is not good news for rebate holders...
