I got screwed too ! purchased time share in puerto vallarta Mexico and was promised a refund of the full purchased price if I mail the check stubs back in the 54 month time frame. so I did, and guess what. it was all returned to me by the post office " the address no longer exists ". so, if any one is thinking of maybe a class action law suit or a way in which we can make these bastards pay us back please include me in. I will continue to look at this web site periodically for any update's. thanks for the info.

Cashback America is still going strong in Orlando. 4 1/2 years ago I bought a wall unit, and was supposed to get a 70% refund if I followed all the rules and regulations. I did, and after several phone calls and being put off several months, yesterday received a check for $129.63 instead of the promised voucher amount; $703.74. Here is the reason: "Unfortunately, because of the unusually high number of claims received, you are only entitled to a percentage of the face value of your voucher as per the Terms and Conditions."
Total amount available in the claim fund to pay claims: $44,845.25
Total value of valid claims received from customers: $243,457.49
Percentage of claims to be paid: 18.42%
Sounds like I had the same experience as others reported on your site. (How do they arrive at the amount of money they decide to put in the fund, I wonder?) Luckily, I didn't count on ever receiving the money, but WHAT A SCAM!!! I hope someone shuts these people down

We discovered your website after researching U S Administrative Services, Inc. We recently received a denial of our claim and now that we see your website, we know we are not alone.
To try to make a long story short...We purchased a roof from Mr. Roof in Michigan 3 years ago. A "promotion" that they were running at the time was a "cashback" for $1667 of it in 3 years thru United States Administrative Services, Inc. if all proper paperwork was submitted in 3 years. I know they are counting on most people not remembering this stuff. Note that they only give you one chance to submit paperwork within a very strict window of time. We sent in everything they requested according to their "fine print" in the designated time frame. They denied our claim, citing that we did not provide third party proof of payment.
In their fine print for required documents it stated: "third party proof that you paid for the goods (cancelled check, credit card slip, merchant invoice marked paid, etc)
When we mailed in the original paperwork, we did not go to the trouble of getting a copy of the cancelled check from 3 years ago because as one of the acceptable documents, it listed "merchant invoice marked paid." We included the invoice in our original mailing and on the bottom the salesman had written "paid in full, May 10, 2004, ck #XXXX, $7335.00" and signed it. Now
they say that is not acceptable. We called them and they are the rudest bunch of people on Earth. We then mailed them a letter back, highlighting their own fine print of acceptable documents. They say that the only time a merchant invoice marked paid is acceptable is if cash was paid. That is not how we understood it, because to us, it was clearly listed as an acceptable
document. In addition, since you are only allowed one time submittal of required paperwork, even if we got a copy of the cancelled check now, they wouldn't accept it. We are furious.
Do you have any suggestions on what steps we should take? The most recent complaints I can find via the Internet are from 2006. We purchased the roof in Michigan and live in SC now.
