I receive email on a daily basis, I wish I had more time to review and respond. As I explain in detail below, much of the fallout of this scam will take months or years to happen. I found two related stories from the Pittsburgh (PA) Post Gazette. I also found information about a related lawsuit in Missouri. And, i found the details of the Massachusetts AG's position on CBA, with additional details from two Boston Globe articles. And, now Pennsylvania's AG is joining the ranks of the enlightened as reported in the Orlando Business Journal. Finally, please don't miss the Central Florida Better Business Bureau's Reliability Report on Cashback America.

I just received notice that my claim was denied because I allegedly mailed it to the wrong address. They have admitted that they received both the claim and the stub though -- so I'm not letting it drop. I'm going to continue to pursue it with the company, but it sounds a lot like they're trying to defraud me.
Thanks for the site, source of great information. I imagine that it won't be easy with me being locate in Canada, and them in Florida, but I'm not the type of person just to let things drop. If I come up with any useful information, I'll be sure to let you know.
Thanks, J

I sent my claim on the 16/8/05 after a 35 month qualifying period. I have adhered to all the conditions and Cashback America have not met their obligations. My claim is for the amount of $2450 . They responded to my emails for a couple of months but when they were unable to stall me any longer and could find no way of declining my claim I can no longer obtain a reply. I had a tracking number as it was sent registered post and had photocopies of all relevant paperwork.
I intend to pursue the matter as unlike the other complaints I have not even been declined. Richard Stupple is the person who was emailing me in the early stages and feeding me stories like they were backlogged, the claims were dealt with in Costa Rica or other things like they were unable to trace my claim. I have now clarified that he is one of the directors. Wish me luck in my efforts to pursue the matter. I will keep you updated on my attempts.

This is the most frustrating thing I have encountered from an internet purchase. I would have never of purchased the cameras if I would have known the steps and issues. I just wonder how responsible the vendor was for not checking the history of Cashback America /USAS. They assured me that I could make two purchases on the same day and each voucher would be honored.
Now COB refuses to pay on one of the vouchers. The Vendor has told me they have stopped using them now, but how many people have been screwed. Even thought it is only a $100, at this point I will fight it to the bitter end.
Also thanks for your website. It is very informative.
